Act 1

We had an election for our local politician. Lot of foreign men were gambling on who they thought would win. We all have to chose who we think will win because it will make a big impact on our economy and freedom.

Act 2

Freedom: political or national independence.

Gambling: the activity or practice of playing at a game of chance for money or other stakes.

Industry: any general business activity; commercial enterprise: the Italian tourist industry.

election: the selection of a person or persons for office by vote.

economy: an act or means of thrifty saving; a saving: He achieved a small economy by walking to work instead of taking a bus.

Act 3

The state government spends its funds through a series of department’s, each of
which provides serves for the public. Each department is responsible to a
cabinet minister, but has a permanent head as well. This permanent head is a
senior public serviette , who usually hold his or her position for many years. On
the other hand, the Cabinet ministers change from time to time, usually as a result
of an elections.

Act 4

100wc week

I  would like to be a night zoo keeper because they get to look after all the  animals and put them to bed. You also get to see them do tricks that no one else gets to. Although you would have to stay up all night but i hope that is a risk everyone is willing to take for these animals. So if you see any lost animals of pets please retern them to a pet facilitator for there safety and well being. I know thats what i would do if i found a lost, hurt or stranded animal, help them.

big question: what is the missing house?

solve: I looked through the whole picture and saw which parts of the house there were only 2 of. I knew I had to look for pictures with 2 because i knew that the ones with 3 are already done.

mathematicians toolbox strategy: I used guess check and improve and have I seen  this problem before.

clarify —

big question: What is the missing face?

solve : I counted through all the faces to see which had which then I realized there were 3 circle faces three hexagonal faces and two square faces so the face would be square. Then there were three sets of three hairs three sets on one hair and two sets of two hairs so it would be 2 hairs. Then  there were 3 sets of blank eyes three sets of big eyes and only 2 sets of half open eyes so it would be the half open eyes. finnaly there were three sets of blank noses three sets of big noses and only 2 sets of light shaded noses so it would be a light shaded nose.

answer: a square face a lightly shaded nose 2 hair’s and half open eyes.

stratergies: guess check and improve and do I know a similar problem?

Act 1: It is compulsory that the commonwealth of Australia use very good communication because have a prescription to teat this country well. To do that we have to make sure our communist knows what they are responsible for.

Act 2:

Communist: A person who is regarded as supporting politically.

Commonwealth: A federation of states e.g the Commonwealth of Australia.

Compulsory: Something that is required.

Commission: The act of committing or giving in charge.

Coalition: A combination or alliance.

Act 3:

a I peeled all of the potatoes and out them in the pan.

as Sarah and Cassy argue over and over they do not realize what is going on outside !!! The world is about to blow up and all they can think about is  arguing . Imagine if you were one of the girls and the world suddenly blew up without you knowing ! What would you do? ask yourself how you would feel and what you would do.

The night when it was dark they quietly crept along and go on the ships deck. everyone was too busy to notice them . By and by they came to a black square hole. and down they crept by a ladder what was in it ? They found a lower deck after they had gone down a little way and had just stepped on to it when the whole was covered over.

It was a Tuesday morning in springville and everyone was awfully happy including on young girl called Josey. Running down the stars Josey finds herself awfully hungry. She decides to make herself a peice of toast. She puts her toast in the toaster and it POP’S up into her face. Then she gets the butter and spreads it . finnaly she is up to the peanut butter opens the lid, AHHHHHHHH  there is none left!!!!!!!!! This is terrible terrible What are we going to do?? But wait Josey decides to pull out the honey! Were all saved from this terrible disaster.

read: Outside Kaitlin front gate there is a power pole. Along the street there a several more power poles all evenly spaced. starting at the first pole it takes Kaitlin 30 seconds to get to the third pole. At this rate how long will it take her to get to pole 6?

Clarify:  —

Big question: How long will it take Kaitlin to get to pole six?

strategies: Prior knowledge, Have a seen a question similar to this before?

Solve: I knew that it took Kaitlin 30 seconds to get to pole 3 but she only ran 2 poles. so it would take her 75 seconds for 15 seconds per pole.
